This last saturday we decided that we were going to get grado's pictures taken and really do it and we did! yay!! they turned out so great i was worried cause he was getting tired but he pulled through and we got some really great ones! at first the photographer was saying one of you sit here next to him and the other can try to get him to laugh and smile so i thought troy you get him to laugh and i will sit here by him well that ended up not working so i got up and tried to make him laugh i started jumping up and down and playing peek a boo in the middle of the mall im sure people were thinking man she is crazy! ha ha its funny what we will do for our kids to make them smile and laugh:) here are a few of my fav's from the session. p.s we went to that new smiles place in the mall and they did great i highly reccomend them!

Wow i cannot believe 5 months have come and gone! it has went by way way too fast! here are a few pics of my 5 month old little man

5 things i love about my grady man at 5 months

- sleeps through the night finally! thanks to rice cereal:) and in his own crib YAY!

- loves his daddy whenever dad comes home his eyes get huge and he freaks out!

- giggles out loud

- tries to say hi ha ha we always say it and it always sounds like he is trying to mimick it!

- his lower lip love it! smiles frowns i just love it! its so pouty:)

I cant believe that two months have already passed by and now my little boy is already almost 3 months! he is such a joy in our lives! i wanted to write about his delivery to remember a little they say you forget but at the time i was like i will never forget this! ha ha but as time goes on things start to fade so sad but true!4.1.2010 I had been having so much pain the last couple days of being pregnant i wasnt able to work or really even walk around it was not fun but people kept telling me you will know when your in labor you wont be able to even breathe through some of the contractions so i just knew i wasnt in labor but i was in alot of pain so i thought if i can wait till my appointment on 3.31.2010 i would know than if things had changed or if something was happening so i ended up being able to wait until my appt i got to the back and they were taking my blood pressure and the girl said to me you might be having this baby today! it was crazy to actually hear it from someone else but i knew it was a possibilty so i got back to see my dr and he went on to tell me that he wanted to start me cause of my blood pressure he didnt want something to end up happening to the baby if i waited longer i was already dialated to a 3 so he said things would be fine and that he thought i should go ahead and get over to the hospital and get started i started crying i thought i dont know if i want to get started but he insured me that things would be fine and that it would be best for Grady to get started so me and troy headed over to the hospital and we got settled and they started me on the pitocin and things quickly started progressing i got checked in aroud 4 and at around 6 he broke my water and than at 8 or so i really started getting strong contractions i had already gotten my epideral but was nervous to press the button so troy had to come push it once or twice for me right after that the nurse came in and checked me she said she thought i was ready to start pushing i told her i was still in quite a bit of pain i told her that i had just pressed the button twice and that i was still feeling alot of pain she told me i could push it again but that i could be numb after for a little while i had heard from friends that being numb is horrible so i thought i could handle this little bit of pain but wow! if only i knew how strong these contractions were going to be! so around nine thirty ten i started pushing one of the nurses told me she thought i would be only pushing a little and he would be here but he was having trouble coming out and it was so so hard i got so discouraged i told troy i need some encouragment! he started sayin in a normal voice "you can do it babe" i said to him NEVERMIND! ha ha he wasnt encouraging enough at this point i was in so much pain with every contraction coming it was so painful and i didnt know if i was even making any progress. I just needed something or someone to help me have the courage to get him to come by this time i had been pushing for almost 2 hours and finally they said it looks like he is ready to be delivered my dr came in and with a little more pushing and pain ha he was here! my dr pulled him out he was pooping everywhere ha ha i guess the reason he was having a hard time getting here he was turned the wrong way he was posterier they told me it was a good thing i got started cause he came out pooping which could have been really bad if he pooped while still in my belly my dr was surprised to see a big baby he said i bet he is atleast an 81/2 pounder so at 12:55 Grady Kyle Denning was born 8lbs 6 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long i cant describe the feelings i was having at this point the pain from pushing and the emotion from seeing him i couldnt control my emotion i was scream crying ha ha they took him over and started to clean him up and i could see a worried look on one of the nurses faces and i kept saying is everything ok whats going on? they said well he is having problems breathing they were succtioning his throat out and still he was just grunting i was already crying and than they told me that and i was so worried they told me that they wanted to try some skin to skin time with me and see if that helped so for about 15 min i sat there holding him crying holding my little boy i couldnt believe he was really here. So after 15 min of skin to skin time he had not progressed so they told me they would have to take him to the NICU and moniter and make sure they could get him to breathe on his own so from the delivery room they took him and i went to my recovert room without him:( by this time it was almost 3 in the morning and i was exhausted but could not sleep i was thinking about my little guy and worrying and wondering how he was doing at that point troy was almost asleep and the phone rang! it was the nurse down in the NICU telling troy that he was doing fine now and that he was finally breathing on his own finally i could breathe easy. They brought him down to me and i got to cuddle my little guy and love him.

Everyones labor experiences are so different i wanted to remember mine so i wanted to blog about it Grady has changed our lives so much and every day i am grateful for my little family and my amazing hubby he does so much for me and he sure knows how to make me smile

When troy was taking these pictures he kept saying man he has mitts for hands haha that and he was scowling at the nurses he looked pretty mad!

25th birthdays!

So it has been a while since i have posted anything new! me and troy both celebrated our 25th birthdays over the holidays troy's was november 29th and mine was jan 8th i just wanted to post a couple pics of both our birthdays.

p.s the celebrating is not over quite yet for me my awesome inlaws planned something new for this year birthday dinners so this saturday more partying! yipee:)

ITS A BOY

This past week we finally found out what our little babe is gonna be and were having a BOY we both couldnt be more excited the minute we found out Troy was saying how he is gonna be watching Jazz basketball with him. And we finally got to buy him something which was so much fun!! everything we have bought so far has something to do with sports so im thinking i might do a sports theme room for him. Friday i didnt have to work so i hit up the jj cole sale they have every year and i got alot of good stuff and got everything for such a great deal! im excited to use it all but it wont be for a little longer im half way there now and im starting to feel some real kicks its such a COOL feeling to feel him moving around finally everyone had always told me how cool it was and that it was the best feeling about pregnancy and it really is awesome! Were both so excited to start this new part of our lives and share everything with our little boy we both have waited and always wanted to be parents and know that it comes with challenges but were both looking forward to the day we get to see him for the first time!

New Chapter

I have been such a bad blogger seeing as my last post was titled "summer finally" and it snowed yesterday haha summer is officially over and we took our last summer vacation a couple weeks ago to sunny and very hot california it was a blast!!! i have a few pics i need to put up and sort through it was a much needed vacation and it ws so hard to get back into reality after such a fun long trip!

Fall time is upon us and i love the fall and the changing leaves and all the fun holidays we have to look forward to like halloween and thanksgiving, christmas such a fun time of the year. We have been living with troys parents for about 4 months now they put up their halloween decorations it got me so excited not to mention my mother in law has a ton of cute cute halloween decorations we have enjoyed living with them and are so grateful to them for allowing us to invade their home for as long as we have! Were moving into our new home this weekend and were so excited it seems like time has flown right by and we both cant believe its done already!

So most of you probably already know that were are expecting our FIRST BABY i had my first dr appointment the other day and everything is going great so far and it was so crazy to see our little baby moving around and to hear the healthy heartbeat i was so worried i just wanted everything to be ok and after waiting so long to see the dr i think every first timer worries about everything being ok and it was such a relief to know things are moving along great the dr had some great shots but the ones he printed off are little blurry.

i had a bit of a hard time uploading these and there tiny but one of the pics shows the side profile and the others are just showing how long our baby is.

Summer so far has been alot of fun doing alot of stuff working alot and building our home. We just got back from a short vacation to cedar city/st george troy played in the summer games again with my brothers it is family tradition we always go i just wanted to post a few pictueres of our litttle get away.

Some of you may know and some of you may not! We are building a home we are so excited the hole has been dug and things are going to start moving right along. We think it should be done at the beginning of october. We are moving out this month to live with our parents and were so excited we are so grateful for Steve and Joyce for letting us move in with them to save more money to put down on our loan. We are excited to move in and start saving for our new home It is crazy that we will soon have a place to call our own that is ours to call HOME we never thought we could get into a house this soon but are blessed to be able to. The process has been a bit long but finally got all the stuff chose that we want in our home we have had so much help with everything and were so thankful to all of you for you help and cant wait to entertain at our new home:) We ran over there to take a few pictures of the hole where our future home will be and it got me so excited thinking about decorating and doing our own stuff to it! We are going up to the draper temple tomorrow for my cousin Bo and his fiance Carly were so happy for those two and cant wait for them experience how great marriage is! It's crazy that IKEA happens to be just around the corner from there so we decided we should probably go and just look at some stuf (yeah right me just look?) haha I will let Troy think that though. I just had to blog about this since i have not blogged for quite a while! and this to us is kinda a BIG DEAL for us. More pictures to come of our home going up!

Not much has changed for us this past couple months that i have neglected my blog. I had a good birthday with my family. And we have both just been really busy with work. My little brother Jordan leaves for his mission on the eighteenth of this month so just a few days away its so crazy that he is leaving already. Were excited for the opportunity he has to go spread the gospel and are grateful for him. We actually got family pictures taken im excited to see how they turned out we all looked so good the colors were cream,brown, navy and purple we took most of them outside it was a little chilly so i hope i dont look red nosed in all of them. I will have to post some when we get them. But other than that nothing new is going on just work and spending time with friends and family. I will try to blog more often:)

Another year older today! I wont say i loved sharing a birthday growing up i always wanted the barbie cake and just a girl party but it was always a boy/girl party and we always had a normal cake cause it was for me and Ryan. But since i have gotten older i really enjoy having a twin brother he is such a great guy and i love that we get to share a birthday. New Calling

In our new ward we recenly received a calling to serve togethor in the nursery. Were both excited about it and are happy to serve. Since togethor we have 15 nieces and nephews (most of them coming from Troy's family:). Now we get to teach and get to know 15 new little kids they all have their own little personalities and their so cute. Im sure that they will end up teaching us alot. Were so happy to be a part of the church that we both love so much and are grateful for the chance to serve.

Today is a very special day its my husbands b-day!!! I just wanted to throw him a shoutout on his special day. Troy is always thinking of everybody else before himself he is such a sweetheart and he means so much to me. When i met troy i knew there was something there everbody always says when you meet the one your suppost to spend your life with you will just know. And it was just like i knew this was the man i would be with forevor. He had the same values as me and he treated his mother with such respect and loves her so much. So i knew that he would treat me good and he has a great family!!! Plus he is a twin too!! everbody always gets a kick out of that when i tell them he is a twin and i am too. So anyways Troy I love you and i cant wait to spend every birthday with you for the rest of our lives thanks for being such a great husband and my best friend!!

A few FUN weekends!!!

Wow i have been out of the blogging world for a while. We have actually been up to alot this month. We went to california with my family about two weeks ago it was fun to get away for a little while and just hangout. We went to universal studios and disneyland. My family hadnt been there for quite a while so alot of stuff was new to them like california adventure and some of the stuff at universal. It was a good fun weekend.

This passed weekend we were off to deer valley for my work christmas get togethor. It was such a fun time! The office i work for the Dr gave us a free nights stay at this really nice lodge and we had a big dinner on friday night at the restaraunt they had there. The food was good and the company was as well! The room we stayed in was amazing!!! It was huge we had a hot tub on the deck that outlooked the mountains it was beautiful up there. After dinner we had Chad and Tif come over and we all sat in the hot tub it was good to just relax:) It worked out great cause on saturday night we had tickets to coldplay! We met up with Tori and Adam don and some of adams family to eat at applebees before the concert good eating!! Than off to the concert!!! I LOVE COLDPLAY! And they were so good in concert everything was just so good he sang a song with just the piano and i seriously think he wrote that song for me:) I got chills like during every song. ofcourse I tried to ignore the lady that was standing next to us that thought she was Cloris leechman from dancing with the stars (sorry adam). It was fun Troy had never been to a concert and this was a good one to go to. Alot of their songs remind me of when me and troy were dating So i tried not to wildly makeout with him when they sang hahahaha It was fun to experience his first concert with him he kinda just sat there and bobbed his head and sang along.

One Year Anniversary

So we decided to go to park city for our anniversary we left on saturday and came home on monday. It was nice to spend a few days togethor and not have to worry about work and everything. We went shopping and went to the utah olympic park and walked around it was really cool all the stuff they have from the olympics I love the olympics so it was cool to see the medals and all the stuff they use in the olympics. We also went and walked up and down the old park city main street it was fun to look in all the shops alot of souvenier shops and stuff it was alot of fun! I cant believe how fast the first year has flew by! I am so happy that i met the man of my dreams and that i actually get to spend eternity with him! He always treats me with respect and has alot of patients with me. I love you Troy thanks for always being there!
We also went to the corn maze on monday night for FHE with my family it was alot of fun! they had big corn mazes and little corn mazes but it was a BLAST they also had a hay maze that you could crawl and climb on. It was fun to see bryce and kaylee climb and run through the maze we all had a good time and got some good pictures.

Last little Brother

My little Bro Jordan got his mission call yesterday! He got his call early in the morning but they made him wait till last night until nine thirty. So we all gathered at Aaron and Veronicas to watch him open his call As we were waiting for him to open it I kept thinking Your not old enough are you? The little Brother we would all get so excited to go watch play anything Football, basketball,baseball. Whatever he did we would all try our hardest to get work off or leave school early. The last little Brother in our family to go serve the lord and i am so proud of him for making the decision to go serve a mission. Yes we will all miss him like Crazy and will think of him everyday (mom your baby boy is all grown up) We LOVE you jord and are so so so proud of you we know you will do great.

The Fair

The fair was in town this last weekend . So we all met up at Aaron and Veronicas place (love the sound of that!) and headed over to the fair grounds we ate first we all got something differant Troy got dutch oven and ofcourse i had to have a navajo taco:) yum we finished up eating and decided to walk around and see what there was. My dad was looking at a hot tub he just put in a new deck and wants to get hot tub to go along with it. Me and Veronica were looking at these cute cute watches I had to have one so after a minute of begging Troy he said i could have one it is so cute! Were going to make more bands to go with differant stuff so that will be fun! Cant wait V! And finally the rides so ofcourse i get sick on all rides so i just sat back and took a few pictures of the fam. My sis Char my mom and Kaylee were having a BLAST! she was giggling like crazy on the dragon ride she loved it! We had fun and i got alot of cute pictures of Kaylee and them on the dragon ride!

Lion Pups and Softball

So now our tuesday nights are going to get a bit busier. Troy got asked to play on a softball team with my brothers and some guys from check city. Lastnight was their first game and there just happened to be a blue sox game going on also so me and my sis in law veronica had to take advantage and go grab us a lion pup:) If any of you know what a lion pup is you know how good they are! its like a homemade corn dog with this amazing sauce on them. We stood in line for a while but we finaly got them when we came back the first game was half over (sorry guys) It was fun to watch them play they won their first game by quite a few and lost the second by a few. It was a beautiful night. Here are a few pictures of the hubs and my bro's
